During my fourth year in university, I designed a partial deck of Tarot cards for my final body of work. This is the final illustration and the final draft for the Justice card. Several of my designs deviated from the more popular Tarot iconography. I kept Justice blind, and also retained the scales and sword held by the ancient Roman goddess Iusticia. The heart and feather are a reference to the ancient Egyptian god Thoth.
